On July 13th 2005 True Engineering received damage due to a fire. Shown below is the temporary office we worked in for 7 months. Read our article in CE News. Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3

Wednesday, JULY 13TH
5:30 P.M. – Doug & Jan notice smoke, notify authorities & safely leave the building
5:45 P.M. – Fire Departments show up.
7:00 P.M. – 2 Firemen suffer heat exhaustion & are taken away in an ambulance.
Thursday, JULY 14TH
12:00 A.M. – Fire Department determines building is stabilized enough that it
can be secured.
8:00 A.M. – Fire Chief & adjusters show up to walk through & inspect the site.
8:10 A.M. – First (of many rounds) of friends & associates show up to offer assistance & support
10:00 A.M. – Clean up of the unit starts
11:00 A.M. – Office calls forwarded.
12:00 P.M. – Temporary office location determined & setup begins.
2:30 P.M. – Email system restored & functional (but no-site internet)
Friday, JULY 15TH
8:00 A.M. – Additional inspections & walk throughs
5:00 P.M. – Data through end of day Tuesday restored & loaded on computers.
Saturday, JULY 16TH
FIRST MAJOR MILESTONES HIT – NEW COFFEE POT ARRIVES, first few computers up & printing
Monday, JULY 18TH
10:00 A.M. – SFC Engineering lends us computers for temporary setup & use.
11:30 A.M. – Temporary Internet functional at temp office.
12:00 P.M. – Temporary fax configuration working at temp office
2:00 P.M. – Temporary business sign goes up

Fieldbooks warmed up but wet & drying out
Tuesday August 2nd - All of the first floor except for Tom True's office gets cleaned and demolished down to the studs
Monday August 8th - Permanant Server for network arrives
Thursday August 10th - Permanant phone systems arrive
Friday August 11th - Permanant internet arrives (as usual the phone company is the last to come through)
Tuesday August 16th - Exchange server up and running, internal & external email working at 100%
September 9th - Estimates for rebuilding the office due.
September 12th - New roof trusses due (old trusses ruined by the heat).
September 14th - Submit to Planning Board & Building Inspector to get fit-up rebuild permits rolling.
